Jeep Batur Sunrise
A trip to Mount Batur would be incomplete without seeing the lunar-like landscape of the black lava fields, and a Black Lava Jeep Tour is one of the most exciting and accessible ways to do so. As you approach Mount Batur in a custom-built 4WD vehicle, learn about the fascinating history and geology of Mount Batur and the Kintamani area.
Your English-speaking guide will explain various geological aspects, the history of the volcano and its eruptions, and the spiritual significance of the volcano and sacred locations on its slopes to the Balinese Hindu community throughout the expedition. Sunrise Jeep Tour
This package option is the shortest. The tour will start with a pick-up at the hotel in a private car and proceed to the starting point for approximately one to two hours. Then at the starting point you will change from an ordinary car with a 4 WD jeep to go to the sunrise view point of Mount Batur (1,560 masl). After sunrise, our jeep driver will take you back to meet the first driver who will then take you back to the hotel.

- 05.00: Arrive at the starting point, and the 4WD jeep trip begins

- 06.00 – 06.30: It’s time to witness the beauty of the sunrise while eating the breakfast that you prepared
